Our Vision

We wrote this book to share our real life love story that challenges readers while providing inspiration as they navigate their own life’s detours with faith. Our mission is to create a supportive environment in which people can heal, grow, and discover the deeper meanings in relationships and life journeys.

Our Mission

Our purpose is to relate the personal narrative in an honest and vulnerable manner, demonstrating how divine intervention can lead to personal and relational development. We want to encourage others to accept their unique individual path, find strength in hardship, purpose in pain, and reach their God-given potential while leaving lasting legacies.

We’re A. Proctor and H. Grisby, the authors of Divine Detours to Destiny. Our adventure taught us of the power of love and the value of partnership. Xodus Unlimited – Freedom, Boundless Inspiration, & Opportunities of a Lifetime, is our joint umbrella partnership which Divine Detours to Destiny is under. In addition to this book we are working on individual writings, Minority Motherhood, Entrusted with Pain, and Better Man Than Me, inspired by the solo portions of our divine detour. Through Divine Design Worthy Method Coaching℠ and iN-E-1 Development Inspirational Speaking℠ we are building a supportive community

What motivated you to write "Divine Detours to Destiny"?

Our own experience of rediscovering love and connection after many years apart led us to tell our story. We wanted to provide hope and inspiration to others facing similar hardships, demonstrating that even life’s detours may lead to a beautiful destiny.

How would you characterize "divine detours" in the context of your book?

Divine diversions are unexpected twists and turns in life that, upon thought, reveal a greater purpose or significance. They may take us down unexpected pathways, but they ultimately bring us to our actual destiny.

Can you provide an example of a divine detour in your relationship?

One important divine detour for us was an unexpected reunion after years apart. Despite our time apart and the difficulties we encountered, our love persisted, resulting in a remarkable rediscovery of our connection and purpose together.

How do you expect people to profit from reading your book?

We hope that our tale inspires, comforts, and guides our readers. Whether they’re struggling in their relationships or trying to negotiate life’s twists and turns with faith and tenacity, we hope to provide insights and support that resonate with their own experiences.
